Womens March 2021: Standing Up for Abortion Rights

Its officially fall girls and I really can't believe we have to kick it off with *STILL* having to protest this sh*t. Like it's 2021 - are you serious?! But here we are. Now more than ever it is so important that we rise up against the patriarchy and let them know #WeWontGoBack and that they need to keep their #BansOffOurBodies

On October 2nd - Women in all 50 states took part in protesting a horrifying law (SB 8) which went into effect on September 1st in Texas that bans abortion before many people know they are even pregnant. This extreme ban allows any person to act as a bounty hunter, spy on their neighbors, and secure a $10,000+ reward for successfully suing someone who helps a person seeking abortion care after about six weeks of pregnancy.

This cannot and will not be tolerated. Not if 1GIRL1CITY has anything to do with it. It's up to us Girls, each and every one of us. 1Girl in 1City at a time - each of us can make a difference and bring awareness to this serious violation of our rights.

We need each other now more than ever. While attending the Women's March this weekend that is exactly what I saw. Groups of women that stood up and stood together to say - "Oh hell no, not on my watch."
